Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Greenwood Village, CO, is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate must have a current Colorado Bar license and relevant litigation experience, including breach of contract, business disputes, real estate disputes, landlord/tenant issues, personal injury cases, and general civil litigation matters.

Duties:

• Handle civil litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Manage case files, including organizing documents and maintaining deadlines.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and development.
• Provide regular updates to clients and participate in case strategy meetings.

Requirements:

• Current Colorado Bar license.
• 1-3 years of experience in civil litigation matters.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Current Colorado Bar license.
