Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney to join its office in Calabasas, CA. The firm is open to candidates who have recently passed the bar or attorneys with up to 10 years of experience in family, civil, or criminal law. The ideal candidate will effectively collaborate in a team environment while managing multiple caseload tasks.

Duties

• Manage and prioritize multiple caseload tasks.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents including pleadings, motions, and disclosures.
• Collaborate with shareholders and caseworkers to facilitate case progression.
• Track and manage billable hours.
• Assist fellow attorneys, law clerks, and caseworkers as needed.

Requirements

• 0-10 years of litigation experience in family, civil, or criminal law.
• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of California.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
