Junior to Mid-level Bankruptcy Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Bankruptcy Associate Attorney with solid experience in bankruptcy law and litigation. The ideal candidate should have strong writing skills, excellent academic credentials, and preferably experience representing senior lenders.

Duties:

• Handle bankruptcy cases, including Chapter 7, 11, and 13 filings.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials.
• Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on complex bankruptcy matters.
• Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients regarding bankruptcy issues.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Arizona in good standing.
• 2-5 years of experience practicing bankruptcy law, with litigation experience preferred.
• Strong academic credentials and demonstrated commitment to excellence.
• Experience representing senior lenders in bankruptcy proceedings is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of Arizona is required.
