Duties

• Serve as a trusted legal advisor and general counsel to business and government clients.
• Advise on real estate, development, regulatory, and business matters from inception to completion.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts and real estate instruments.
• Represent municipalities and public entities on governance, zoning, and land use matters.
• Represent private clients before municipal bodies and regulatory agencies.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda and presentations for various audiences.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive service.
• Attend and present at public meetings, including evening meetings in the St. Cloud area.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in Minnesota.
• Experience in real estate, government, or business law preferred; transferable experience considered.
• High-level legal writing and communication skills.
• Growth mindset and willingness to embrace technology, including AI.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a flexible environment.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Minnesota.
