The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation, with a strong understanding of insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies. Duties:

• Provide expert legal advice and support on complex insurance coverage matters, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.
• Conduct detailed legal analysis and interpret insurance policies, coverage disputes, and regulatory requirements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate insurance-related documents, including policies, contracts, and compliance agreements.
• Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes and commercial litigation, including in arbitration, mediation, and court proceedings.
• Prepare and argue legal motions, briefs, and other critical documentation in litigation and regulatory matters.
• Perform comprehensive legal research and produce well-reasoned analyses on insurance and reinsurance issues.
• Develop and implement strategic case plans to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Collaborate with clients, insurance professionals, and internal teams to address and resolve insurance claims and coverage challenges.
• Stay current on legal developments, industry trends, and regulatory changes impacting insurance law.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to obtain admission.
• 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Demonstrated expertise in handling insurance coverage issues related to professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to obtain admission.
