Job Title: Personal Injury Attorney

Job Overview:
A respected law firm based in Torrance, CA is seeking a driven litigation attorney with a focus on representing clients in personal injury matters. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced trial team in an environment that emphasizes advocacy, litigation excellence, and client service. The attorney will manage a robust caseload and be actively involved in all stages of litigation, including strategy development, depositions, and trial support.

Duties:

• Lead a portfolio of 30–40 plaintiff-side personal injury cases from initiation through resolution

• Formulate legal theories and litigation strategies tailored to each case

• Draft pleadings, legal motions, discovery requests, and other court filings

• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and subject-matter experts

• Participate in settlement discussions and mediation sessions

• Serve as second chair during trial proceedings

• Maintain consistent communication with clients, offering case updates and guidance

• Collaborate with and provide direction to paralegals and administrative support staff

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in plaintiff-side personal injury litigation

• Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively

• Familiarity with court procedures and litigation best practices

• Willingness to work full-time in the firm’s Torrance, CA office

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited institution

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in California

• Member in good standing with the California State Bar
