A law firm seeks an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney in Irving, TX. The successful candidate will join a dynamic litigation team, handling a variety of employment matters, including sexual harassment, workplace assault, discrimination, and wage and hour violations. This role offers the opportunity to impact clients' lives positively while advancing within a collaborative legal environment.

Duties

• Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including sexual harassment and discrimination cases.
• Provide strategic legal counsel on sensitive employment matters.
• Manage cases from intake through resolution, including trial preparation.
• Represent clients before agencies such as the EEOC and NLRB.
• Draft and review employment agreements and workplace policies.
• Conduct internal investigations and compliance audits.
• Stay informed on labor and employment law trends.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Experience with sexual harassment and workplace assault cases.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent legal writing and research abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with class/collective actions or PAGA claims.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Experience with plaintiff-side or employee advocacy firms.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)
