Duties:
Draft and prosecute patent applications in the U.S. and internationally
Counsel clients on patent strategy and IP portfolio management
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand technical innovations
Support litigation and transactional matters involving intellectual property
Conduct patentability, freedom-to-operate, and invalidity analyses
Contribute to firmwide DE&I, pro bono, and community engagement initiatives (credit-eligible)
Requirements:
2–5 years of patent prosecution experience as an attorney or combination of attorney and agent experience
Prior work with electrical engineering, software, wireless technologies, or medical devices
Ability to communicate complex legal and technical concepts to diverse audiences
Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and balance multiple projects
Strong client focus and collaboration skills
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
Certifications:
Admission to the bar in the state corresponding to the office location or eligibility to become barred
USPTO registration required
