Duties

• Assist with docket involving Defense Base Act claims.
• Review, analyze, and summarize claims documents, including medical records and incident reports.
• Conduct legal analysis to determine recovery likelihood and necessary documentation.
• Participate in Department of Labor conferences to resolve file issues.
• Communicate clearly with clients on Defense Base Act and War Hazards Compensation Act issues.
• Manage and prioritize legal assignments to ensure task completion.
• Contact and communicate with opposing counsel to resolve claims.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Illinois.
