A nationally recognized immigration law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to oversee and prepare responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), and Notices of Intent to Revoke (NOIRs) related to family-based and humanitarian immigration applications. This role functions as a legal advisor to both attorneys and non-attorney team members, ensuring high-quality legal submissions and compliance with shifting immigration policy. Draft and review legal responses to RFEs, NOIDs, and NOIRs from USCIS
Provide legal analysis and quality assurance over submissions prepared by legal staff
Guide non-attorney RFE team members through case-specific questions and escalations
Identify legal trends and adapt content strategies accordingly
Review and edit written responses for consistency, accuracy, and completeness
Deliver onboarding and continuous legal training to staff attorneys and support personnel
Conduct audits of work product for both attorneys and non-attorneys
Communicate with clients to provide legal advice or handle complex questions and issues
Collaborate with internal teams to meet deadlines and performance goals
Minimum of 3 years of experience in family-based and humanitarian immigration law
Hands-on experience with VAWA, T-Visa, U-Visa, Medical Deferred Action, I-130, Adjustment of Status, and related applications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
Active license in good standing with any U.S. state bar
Prior experience with RFEs, NOIDs, and NOIRs preferred
Strong time management and case handling skills in a high-volume environment

Good standing with the respective state bar
Strong legal writing and analytical skills
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to train and supervise junior attorneys and support staff

Advocacy-driven approach to legal representation
Comfortable with fast-paced legal operations
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
Adaptability to changing immigration policies and client needs
