Duties:

• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning instruments

• Guide clients through estate and gift tax planning strategies

• Represent clients in probate court proceedings and estate administrations

• Advise fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and family members in all aspects of probate and trust administration

• Collaborate with financial advisors and accountants for comprehensive client service

• Maintain compliance with state-specific estate planning and probate regulations

• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on trust and estate matters

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of legal practice focused on estate planning and probate within Connecticut

• Deep understanding of trust and estate law and familiarity with tax implications

• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and provide tailored legal advice

• Proactive approach to client needs and legal problem-solving

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:
