A law firm seeks a Trademark Attorney in Austin, TX. This full-time position offers an alternative to traditional partnership-track roles, featuring a lower billable hour requirement and no business development obligations. Remote candidates within the continental United States are encouraged to apply, with optional in-office work for local attorneys.

Duties

• Conduct U.S. and international trademark clearance searches and provide risk and brand strategy opinions.
• Manage trademark prosecution, including filing applications and maintaining global portfolios.
• Engage in brand policing and enforcement, including cease and desist letters and dispute resolutions.
• Handle licensing agreements, TTAB proceedings, and copyright matters.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school with an active state bar license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of three years of experience in trademark law, including clearance, prosecution, and litigation.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent legal writing, research, and case management skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Must reside and be physically located within the continental United States.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
