Job Overview: A law firm is seeking an experienced Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Partner to join their team in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in executive compensation and employee benefits matters, exceptional drafting and communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently within deadlines.

Duties:

• Provide clients with legal counsel and strategic advice on executive compensation and employee benefits matters.
• Draft and review various documents related to defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, 401k plans, profit-sharing plans, and other related agreements.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to stay updated on laws and regulations affecting executive compensation and employee benefits.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to address client needs effectively.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience practicing law in a law firm setting, focusing on executive compensation and employee benefits.
• Expertise in defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, 401k plans, profit-sharing plans, and related matters.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Membership in the Florida Bar or in the process of becoming a member.
• A portable business book is highly preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Membership in the Florida Bar.
