A law firm seeks an Associate Bankruptcy Attorney in Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will have experience representing secured creditors in consumer Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases. Candidates should be located in Atlanta, GA, or within a commutable distance. A working knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code and Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure is required, though training is available for team-oriented candidates with less experience.

Duties

• Manage routine bankruptcy matters.
• Draft and review pleadings and claims.
• Attend scheduled hearings.
• Respond to firm-wide bankruptcy inquiries.
• Review client filings.
• Monitor electronic filings (ECFs).
• Resolve routine bankruptcy matters.
• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and the Court.

Requirements

Education

• Law degree (JD).

Certifications

• Barred in Georgia.
