A law firm seeks a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join its Litigation Department in Greater Philadelphia. This role focuses on personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability, and employment litigation matters. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and writing skills, managing cases from inception through resolution in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare memoranda, briefs, and dispositive motions.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other substantive court filings.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories and requests for production.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Assist with case strategy development and trial preparation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel.
• Analyze factual and legal issues and develop strategic recommendations.
• Manage case files and deadlines to ensure efficient and timely progression of matters.

Requirements

• Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Proficiency with legal research platforms and standard office technology.

Preferred qualifications

• Ability to develop or originate new clients and/or have a pre-existing client base.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
