Junior to Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Seattle is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with 2+ years of experience. The ideal candidate should have law firm experience, excellent writing and oral advocacy skills, and preferably clerkship or court experience.

Duties:

• Assume responsibility for pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, and arguing motions
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters
• Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, answers, motions, and briefs
• Prepare for and participate in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations
• Manage case files and client communications effectively
• Assist senior attorneys with case strategy and development
• Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on case assignments
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and legal trends

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Washington state
• 2+ years of litigation experience in a law firm setting
• Strong writing and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to handle a high volume of work and meet deadlines
• Clerkship or court experience is a plus

Education:
