Job Overview

A law firm seeks a litigation attorney with 5-8 years of experience to join its aviation, aerospace, automotive, and product litigation and regulatory practice in Orange County, CA. The firm is open to candidates from other locations in California and beyond for the right fit. The ideal candidate will be a proactive litigator with strong writing skills, capable of managing cases independently through discovery and trial.

Duties

• Take depositions, argue motions, and attend court hearings and mediations.
• Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Conduct complex legal research and analysis, drafting memoranda.
• Prepare status reports and recommendations for clients.
• Review document collections in preparation for litigation.
• Manage all aspects of litigation from initial pleadings through trial.

Requirements

• Experience in aviation, products liability, and automotive warranty preferred.
• JD from a reputable law school with excellent academic credentials.
• Experience with California Lemon Law, including the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
• State and Federal court experience.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

• Bar admission in California.
