A law firm seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Attorney to join their dynamic legal team in Irving, TX. This full-time role involves leading complex immigration cases, including advanced litigation and appeals, while providing strategic guidance and mentorship to Associate Attorneys.

Duties

• Lead and manage complex deportation/removal defense and advanced immigration litigation cases.
• Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, and the Board of Immigration Appeals in high-stakes matters.
• Develop and execute legal strategies for cases involving criminal bars, fraud issues, and complex eligibility challenges.
• Act as lead attorney and final decision-maker in critical court and agency appearances.
• Provide advanced guidance to Associate Attorneys and Paralegals.
• Collaborate with the Managing Attorney on firm-wide litigation strategy and best practices.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in good standing.
• Extensive experience in U.S. immigration law, focusing on deportation/removal defense and complex litigation.
• Experience with BIA appeals, complex waivers, and cases involving criminal or fraud-related issues.
• Strong experience appearing before EOIR and USCIS.
• Advanced legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a highly complex caseload and provide strategic legal leadership.
• Strong commitment to ethical standards and professional responsibility.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in good standing.
