The candidate provides paralegal and administrative support services to the Legal Division, including the General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, and staff attorneys. Track tasks and projects for the Legal Division, including monitoring of deadlines and prompting of next actions when needed. Provide administrative support such as typing and copying correspondence; maintaining spreadsheets; filing; scheduling meetings; receiving, opening, screening, and distributing Legal Division mail; and maintaining calendars. Perform legal research when requested. Maintain all tracking systems for invoices, public records requests, and financial services documents. Provide backup executive administrative support to the Commissioner of the Department of Insurance. Perform related duties as assigned by the General Counsel or other Legal Division attorneys.
