The candidate work for Plaintiffs’ Environmental Litigation Firm. Will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the firm’s environmental litigation practice: prepare for hearings and trial; conduct all phases of civil discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery and document review/management, as well as taking/defending depositions; engage in motion practice, including legal research and drafting of legal memoranda and other legal filings; identify and work with expert witnesses; and communicate with clients and opposing counsel. A J.D. degree with 3 years of litigation experience required. Experience litigating in federal court is preferred, as is experience in environmental litigation. A sincere interest in and/or passion for environmental protection is required. Experience in complex litigation is a plus. Must be admitted to a bar (preferably in NC, TN, FL, AL), and willing to apply for admission to the North Carolina Bar.
