A law firm seeks a Senior Associate in Trusts & Estates for their New York, NY office. The ideal candidate will have over six years of experience in estate planning and administration, with a focus on sophisticated estate planning and Surrogate's Court practice.

Duties

• Draft and refine complex estate planning instruments, including wills and trusts.
• Guide clients through estate and trust administration, including probate matters.
• Conduct research and prepare memoranda on tax considerations.
• Support partners on planning engagements for high-net-worth individuals.
• Manage client communications and collaborate with professional partners.
• Mentor junior associates and support practice initiatives.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in trusts, estates, and taxation practice.
• Licensed to practice law in New York; New Jersey and/or Florida preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, team-oriented mindset with independent work capability.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York; New Jersey and/or Florida preferred.

Skills

• Exceptional drafting capabilities and attention to detail.
• Experience with Surrogate's Court practice and estate/trust administration.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
