This role involves advocating on behalf of clients facing state and federal tax disputes. Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive file reviews to assess tax issues and identify optimal resolution pathways

• Lead strategy discussions with clients, explaining case plans and resolution options

• Collaborate closely with tax professionals and case managers to implement resolution strategies

• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, providing updates and guidance throughout the resolution process

• Analyze and respond to correspondence from tax agencies, ensuring timely and accurate follow-up

• Monitor and review resolution files regularly to promote efficiency and cost-effective outcomes

• Coordinate interdepartmental efforts to drive case progression and achieve favorable results for clients

Requirements:

• Strong interest in tax law, dispute resolution, and administrative proceedings

• Demonstrated ability to analyze legal and financial documents

• Effective communicator with strong client-facing skills

• Organized and capable of managing multiple cases simultaneously

• Proficient in using technology platforms to track case progress and correspondence

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Certifications:

• Bar admission in Louisiana preferred or eligibility to waive in
