General Counsel

The candidate will advise and guide the leadership team on legal matters and developing legal strategy to protect and promote the company’s interests. Hands-on delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish corporate goals, strategies, and priorities. Ability to effectively work with and manage outside counsel for a variety of issues, including employment law, litigation, and healthcare compliance. Understand, draft, and negotiate business terms for multiple complex contracts. Risk-reward assessments identifying and assessing the probability and impact to craft creative solutions. Support the broader business with guidance on employment labor law and compliance. Current license to practice law in Minnesota. Should have 3+ years working in-house or in a law firm with relevant experience. Should preferably have 5+ years in a similar role with experience significant exposure to areas such as: health law, healthcare compliance, litigation, employment law, and/or corporate governance.
