Duties

• Serve as a member of the National Coordinating Counsel for mass tort and products liability litigation.
• Develop and maintain national defense strategies and trial themes.
• Draft and review complex motions and legal memoranda.
• Lead and coordinate written discovery strategy.
• Analyze case law and develop pre-trial and trial strategies.
• Take and defend depositions of witnesses and corporate representatives.
• Prepare and manage expert witnesses and testimony strategy.
• Argue motions and participate in court appearances.
• Prepare national case evaluations and risk assessments.
• Participate in mediations and settlement conferences.
• Supervise and coordinate work of local counsel and junior attorneys.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients.
• Mentor and develop junior attorneys.
• Participate in business development and client presentations.
• Meet annual billable hour requirements.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to practice law in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 3 to 7 years of litigation experience in a law firm environment.
• Experience in mass tort and products liability litigation.
• Proven ability to manage multi-jurisdictional litigation.
• Strong client service orientation.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active admission to practice law in at least one U.S. state bar.

Skills

• Advanced litigation skills and strong judgment.
• Ability to manage high-volume, high-exposure matters.
• Experience with Filevine or other document management systems preferred.
