A law firm seeks an experienced Of Counsel to join its Project & Energy Finance team, specializing in financing for energy transition and digital infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive project finance experience, focusing on energy and digital infrastructure.

Duties

• Work on complex financing transactions within the energy transition and digital infrastructure sectors.
• Draft and negotiate loan and security agreements, ensuring all necessary documents are prepared and executed.
• Coordinate complex project closings, ensuring all aspects of the transaction are addressed.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to develop innovative financing solutions.
• Advise clients on legal issues related to project financing and energy transition strategies.
• Provide strategic guidance and legal support to clients throughout the lifecycle of their projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of 9 years of experience in project finance or related fields such as energy transition or digital infrastructure financing.
• Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating complex loan and security documentation.
• Proven ability to manage and execute complex project closings efficiently.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
