A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Covington, Kentucky, to join their team. This full-time, hybrid position requires travel for court-related matters. The successful candidate will represent clients in civil litigation and other legal proceedings.

Duties

• Represent clients in civil litigation and other legal proceedings.
• Conduct legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Provide legal advice to clients on a range of issues.
• Attend court hearings and trials.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio.
• Familiarity with real estate, default servicing, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections.
• High degree of organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently or collaboratively, as needed.
• Excellent and adaptive interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to providing exceptional, responsive, and time-bound client service.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.

Skills

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• Proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
