Summer Internship
The intern's duties will vary from day to day, including engaging with constituents by answering phones and greeting visitors to the office as well as supporting the legislative and communications staff by conducting research on legislation and attending hearings and briefings on the various issues before the House. Will learn about the legislative process and the many other functions of a congressional office. Should be motivated problem solvers who are detail-oriented and excellent written and verbal communicators. Experience or interest in political science, public policy, communications, and international relations is a plus.
Duration: May to August.
