The ideal candidate will have experience with sophisticated M&A transactions in the insurance brokerage industry. Duties:

• Handle sophisticated mergers and acquisitions transactions in the insurance brokerage industry
• Draft and review transactional documents, including purchase agreements, due diligence materials, and disclosure schedules
• Provide legal advice and strategic counsel to clients regarding M&A matters
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to corporate transactions and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with clients, other attorneys, and external parties to facilitate successful deal closings

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver
• 3+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, preferably with a focus on the insurance brokerage industry
• Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and effectively
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment

Education:

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver
