Equity Compliance Resolution Panel/Investigation Assistant

Duties: Reporting to the Assistant Vice Provost for Institutional Equity and the Special Advisor to the Vice Provost for Student Affairs, this position will provide support for Office of Institutional Equity managed training initiatives; Office of Institutional Equity investigations and policy initiatives; and assist in the coordination of the resolution process and record management for student cases investigated and adjudicated under the University’s Sexual Misconduct Policy. Support Equity Compliance Investigators by attending interviews and taking notes. Prepare initial outreach materials for potential reporting parties and No Contact Orders. Perform research/bench marking projects as assigned, including data analysis projects. Proof read policy documents and investigation reports. Oversee implementation of mandatory online sexual misconduct and discriminatory harassment training for staff and faculty in all divisions and assist to coordinate in- person trainings, as needed. Provide support to the Case Manager as needed, including updating Advocate (case management system) and redacting documents. If needed, provide administrative support for Equity Compliance Investigators, including scheduling and submitting expense reports. Coordinate meeting preparation and logistics for Resolution Panels. Collect procedural documents and maintain confidential files in the Advocate case management system. Contact and collaborate with other University departments as necessary to facilitate logistics for Resolution Panel meetings, hearings and trainings. Maintain and disseminate procedural templates to Resolution Panels. Assist with tracking and monitoring relevant dates and procedural documentation to facilitate timely resolution to cases. Coordinate evaluation data and assist with on-going assessment of the administrative processes. Prepare data requests for reports and internal stake holders.
