White Collar Litigation Associate
The candidate will be working on white collar criminal and civil matters, internal and government investigations, securities and FCPA enforcement. Drafting and preparing briefs, pleadings, motions and other documents for court cases and arbitrations. Conducting legal research and writing memoranda. Participation in meetings/negotiations with government enforcement personnel. Managing complex disputes, including responding to government subpoenas, civil investigative demands and civil discovery. Preparation and participation in pretrial, hearings, trial and appellate proceedings. Taking and defending depositions and related work with fact witnesses and experts. Supporting the team on business development and other matters as needed. Should have 2-5 years of white collar litigation experience. Federal criminal defense and internal or government investigations experience is required. Experience with internal or government investigations, securities or FCPA enforcement is required. Current judicial clerks with 2+ years of experience are encouraged. Former federal judicial clerks with white collar experience are encouraged. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri and be in good standing.
