A law firm seeks an Associate, Public Contracts Attorney to join its Public Contracts & Infrastructure Group in New York, New York. This position involves working on complex procurement processes, contract negotiations, and financings for transformative public works projects across multiple sectors.

Duties

• Advise public sector clients on complex procurement and government contracting matters.
• Structure and negotiate project agreements for alternative delivery and P3 transactions.
• Draft and review procurement documents, project agreements, and related project documents.
• Draft and negotiate financing agreements for public infrastructure projects.
• Provide transactional support for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on sophisticated infrastructure financings and project implementation.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of experience in corporate transactions, procurement, and/or government contracts.
• Demonstrated interest in public sector representation and infrastructure development.
• Knowledge of general contract law principles.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage complex legal matters and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Admitted to practice in the State of New York (or immediate ability to apply for admission in the State of New York).

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in New York.
