A respected legal practice based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is inviting applications from skilled attorneys with a passion for immigration law and a commitment to advocating for clients navigating the often complex landscape of U.S. immigration processes. While preference is given to those able to work on-site, a hybrid remote arrangement may be considered for the right candidate.

This is a rewarding role for a legal professional eager to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals, families, and employers facing immigration challenges.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a legal advisor and advocate for clients involved in a broad array of immigration matters, including family-based petitions, employment visas, asylum claims, and removal defense.

  • Draft, review, and submit a variety of immigration filings and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with evolving regulatory standards.

  • Appear on behalf of clients in immigration court and represent their interests before federal agencies such as USCIS and ICE.

  • Conduct in-depth legal research on case law, statutes, and policy changes to ensure clients receive current and effective counsel.

  • Stay informed on updates within immigration law and governmental procedures, applying these insights proactively in client cases.

  • Collaborate with colleagues in a supportive and collegial team environment, contributing to shared goals while managing independent caseloads.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree conferred by an accredited law school.

  • Must hold an active license to practice law in Indiana.

  • At least 4 years of direct experience in immigration law, including representation in complex cases.

  • Proficient understanding of U.S. immigration policies, procedures, and legal frameworks.

Desired Skills & Attributes:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to convey complex legal concepts.

  • Well-honed organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision and timeliness.

  • Comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a collaborative legal team.

  • Bilingual proficiency—especially in Spanish—is considered a valuable asset.

  • Commitment to client-centered service, treating each case with care and diligence.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary package, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

  • Access to professional development opportunities, including continuing legal education (CLE) programs.

  • Enjoy a supportive, collaborative work culture designed to foster growth and professional fulfillment.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a well-established legal practice that prioritizes advocacy, integrity, and client service. Interested candidates are invited to apply exclusively through our recruitment firm to learn more about this rewarding legal career path.
