Profile

Transaction attorney with 5-10 years of experience to join its Public Law Group. The firm serves as general counsel and city attorney to multiple public agencies in Southern California. Attorneys in the Public Law Group advise public agency clients on a wide array of matters, including public governance, municipal law, state and federal procurements, land use and zoning, ethics and open government, constitutional law, elections, and housing, among others. The ideal candidate will be able to advise public agency staff and governing boards on a wide variety of legal matters, work in close relationship with assigned clients, make decisions, and be able to effectively work either cooperatively or independently.

Qualifications:

5-10 years of transactional practice ideally with public law, municipal law, or land use experience

Ability to draft transactional documents including contracts, ordinances, and resolutions

Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
