Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A small trial-intensive boutique litigation firm in Baltimore, Maryland is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-7 years of practice to join their team. The successful candidate will handle a variety of complex and sophisticated litigation matters and will be responsible for representing clients in all levels of litigation proceedings. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to second-chair trials and for promotion and meaningful advancement at the firm. The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Duties:

• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda.
• Assist with all aspects of case management, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex litigation matters.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar in the state of Maryland.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent research and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and client advocacy.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in the state of Maryland.

Skills:

• Litigation experience.
