Location:

• Warren, NJ

Duties:

• Represent municipal clients in a broad range of legal matters including public meetings, zoning, ordinances, contracts, and regulatory compliance

• Provide legal counsel to municipal boards, officials, and agencies

• Draft legal documents including resolutions, ordinances, contracts, and legal opinions

• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda and reports

• Attend and advise at municipal meetings and public hearings

• Represent clients in court proceedings and administrative hearings

• Manage caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines

Requirements:

• 1 to 5 years of experience in municipal law

• Excellent research, writing, and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Professional demeanor and strong organizational skills

• Bilingual ability is a plus

• Must submit salary expectations and three references with the application

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in the applicable state jurisdiction

Skills:

• Legal drafting and document review
