Commercial Paralegal
The candidate will assist in contract review, negotiation, and management of both standard and non-standard commercial and real estate agreements. Summarize contractual terms and other business and legal matters, and respond to contract inquiries and requests. Work on general real estate matters and prepare real estate closing documents and coordinate items for closing and post-closing requirements, including exhibits, execution versions, transaction resolutions, etc. Assist in interfacing with attorneys, internal departments, outside counsel and other third parties regarding the status of projects and deadlines. Facilitate contract management and general legal files organization, manage forms/templates, getting signatures, and assist in the organization of the Legal Department electronic document database and paper records. Design, develop and implement systems and process changes to increase efficiency, support, scalability and ensure quality in the contracting and other legal department matters. Track and analyze outside counsel usage and spending. Ensure timely and accurate data reporting on a weekly basis for Legal analytics. Special projects and duties as assigned.
