Duties:

• Handle mergers and acquisitions, sales, and restructurings.
• Manage contract negotiations and drafting.
• Provide counsel on general corporate governance matters.
• Work on various corporate transactions and corporate law matters.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to ensure effective legal strategies.

Requirements:

• 2-9 years of corporate and transactional legal experience.
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions, sales, restructurings, and corporate governance.
• Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills.
• Preferred: Admission to the Rhode Island Bar or willingness to become admitted.
• Ability to manage complex transactions and provide strategic legal counsel.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Rhode Island State Bar (or willingness to obtain).

Skills:

• Strong corporate law and transactional experience.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage and oversee corporate governance matters.
