A law firm seeks a Commercial Leasing Associate in Houston, TX. This role offers an opportunity to engage with sophisticated clients in the dynamic data center and energy sectors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related agreements.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate commercial leases and related agreements.
• Handle transfer consents, lender subordination agreements, work letters, and SNDAs.
• Address development issues related to power, water, and fiber-optic infrastructure.
• Engage in zoning, entitlements, and permit processes.
• Collaborate on service level agreements and data center construction.

Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of commercial leasing experience.
• Experience with data center development and financing preferred.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Am Law 100 firm experience required.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly in the jurisdiction of the resident office location.

Skills

• Comprehensive understanding of development issues.
• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating legal documents.
