Duties

• Prosecute criminal matters for surrounding municipalities as City Attorney

• Represent private clients in family law, personal injury, or other practice areas

• Attend court hearings, trials, and negotiations

• Build and manage a private caseload

• Communicate effectively with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare legal memoranda

• Develop case strategies and advocate on behalf of clients

Requirements

• Interest in courtroom litigation and trial work

• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple cases

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Desire to build and expand a private client base

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to practice law in the State of Minnesota or eligibility for admission
