Duties

  • Serve as lead counsel on complex family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and property division.
  • Act as a primary advisor and advocate for clients during high-stakes, emotionally charged situations.
  • Develop and execute case strategies from inception through resolution.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, settlement agreements, and related legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide high-level legal analysis.
  • Handle hearings, negotiations, mediations, and court appearances.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership and support staff to ensure excellence in representation.
  • Mentor and support attorneys and staff as appropriate.
  • Uphold the firm's commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client-centered advocacy.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license and good standing with the State Bar.
  • 10+ years of legal experience, with a strong preference for family law.
  • Deep understanding of family law procedure, strategy, and courtroom advocacy.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cases independently.
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Confident, empathetic communicator with clients, colleagues, and the court.
  • Strong professional judgment and ability to lead with composure and clarity.
  • Commitment to high standards of client service and ethical practice.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
