Duties
- Participate in secured debt transactions, including acquisition financings and mezzanine loans.
- Engage in asset-based credit facilities involving lenders, corporate borrowers, and sponsors.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a deal team.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in secured debt transactions preferred; 3 years considered with ability to second-chair deals.
- Sound working knowledge of Article 9 of the UCC.
- Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
- Organized, diligent, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and productively.
Education
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Maryland, Virginia, or D.C. Bar admission (or eligibility to be admitted on motion).
