Duties

• Manage a wide array of federal and state consumer and commercial credit regulatory matters

• Conduct legal research on regulatory issues at both federal and state levels

• Draft legal memoranda analyzing consumer and commercial credit regulations

• Support regulatory due diligence efforts for investors and lenders

• Collaborate with team members to handle all facets of regulatory licensing for clients

• Contribute to various ongoing regulatory projects and assignments as required

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably within a law firm

• Strong background in consumer credit regulatory and licensing matters

• Licensed to practice law in Washington, DC and in good standing

• Ability to work independently and take initiative

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in Washington, DC
