Job Overview

A law firm seeks junior and mid-level associates to join its Corporate group in Boston, MA. The ideal candidates will have experience with start-ups, emerging growth companies, seed and venture capital financings, growth and private equity, and mergers & acquisitions.

Duties

• Counsel early-stage entrepreneurs.
• Represent companies and venture funds in financing rounds and M&A.
• Engage in investor-side financing in growth equity rounds.
• Maintain significant client contact daily.
• Interact with CEOs, Boards of Directors, and general partners of venture funds.

Requirements

• JD from 2021-2023.
• Previous large law firm experience preferred.
• Admitted or eligible to waive into the State Bar of Massachusetts.
• Eagerness to work with emerging growth companies and funds.
• Experience in venture capital financings, growth and/or private equity, M&A transactions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to the State Bar of Massachusetts or eligible for waiver.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Comfortable with significant client interaction.
