Duties

- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.

- Collaborate with medical experts and other professionals to build strong cases.
- Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Advise nursing home and assisted living facility administrators on compliance issues.
- Advocate for policy changes to improve the quality of care in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- Experience in elder law, personal injury, medical malpractice, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience handling cases involving nursing home or assisted living facility residents.
- Strong understanding of federal and state regulations governing nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
