Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Miami, FL, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-6 years of experience handling first-party property defense and/or casualty/liability defense matters. The candidate must hold a Florida Bar license and possess strong analytical skills, a high attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.

Duties:

• Handle litigation matters related to first-party property defense and/or casualty/liability defense.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Assist with discovery processes, including conducting depositions and reviewing documents.
• Attend court hearings, trials, and other proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in cases.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Florida Bar license required.
• 2-6 years of experience in handling first-party property defense and/or casualty/liability defense matters.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Solid work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Florida Bar license.

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience in first-party property defense and/or casualty/liability defense is preferred.
