A law firm seeks a full-time Litigation Associate Attorney in Raleigh, NC, to assist in representing creditors' rights in consumer matters. The role requires handling a substantial case volume with minimal supervision and managing staff effectively.

Duties

• Handle hearings, trials, and other legal matters in various jurisdictions throughout NC and SC.
• Negotiate settlements and case resolutions on behalf of clients.
• Manage staff to support practice efficiency.
• Travel for court appearances across the state, approximately 20% to 40% of the time.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year's experience in litigation in private practice.
• Reside in the Raleigh-Durham-RTP area in NC.
• Dual licensed in NC and SC, or willingness to obtain SC licensure.
• Three years' experience representing creditors in state court preferred.
• Preference for in-office work environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
• South Carolina licensure preferred or willingness to obtain.
