Duties

• Structure, negotiate, and document partnership and joint venture agreements involving low-income housing tax credits (LIHTC).
• Draft joint venture agreements for developers across various real estate transactions.
• Serve as a lead advisor to affordable housing developers utilizing diverse financing sources.
• Advise clients on tax-efficient structuring for real estate projects.
• Provide strategic guidance on structuring joint ventures and utilizing tax credits.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in California.
• Minimum of four years of experience in relevant legal areas.
• Strong understanding of partnership tax matters.
• Experience advising on LIHTC and compliance requirements.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• California State Bar license.
