Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Family Law Attorney in The Woodlands, TX. The ideal candidate will manage their own caseload and demonstrate a positive and supportive attitude with clients and colleagues. A minimum of five years' experience in family law is preferred.

Duties

• Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, and child support disputes.
• Handle all aspects of cases, including pre-litigation, court appearances, mediations, and trials.
• Manage caseload with a working knowledge of discovery.
• Provide empathetic and professional guidance to clients throughout the legal process.
• Collaborate with firm members and assist as needed.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Texas Bar.
• 5+ years of experience in family law.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to network and grow contacts and referral sources.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Texas Bar.
