A law firm in Washington D.C. seeks a Junior to Mid-level Real Estate Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience working on commercial real estate transactions. Strong academic credentials, references, and excellent writing skills are required. Duties:

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial real estate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, leases, and financing agreements.
• Conduct due diligence reviews for real estate transactions, including title examinations, surveys, and environmental assessments.
• Provide legal advice and support to clients on real estate matters, including property acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing transactions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and implement legal strategies for real estate transactions.
• Attend meetings, negotiations, and closings with clients and other parties involved in real estate transactions.
• Research and analyze real estate laws, regulations, and case precedents.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in real estate law.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working on commercial real estate transactions.
• Excellent academic credentials from a reputable institution.
• Strong references demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
• Current license to practice law in Washington D.C. or eligibility for licensure.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in Washington D.C. or eligibility for admission.
