Job Overview: A law firm in Washington, DC, seeks a Corporate Debt Finance Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be adept at negotiating, structuring, and documenting debt finance transactions. Experience representing private equity sponsors or lenders in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing is preferred. Duties:

• Negotiate, structure, and document debt finance transactions.
• Provide legal counsel on leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to debt finance issues.
• Draft legal documents, including loan agreements, security, and other transactional documents.
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on client matters.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate debt finance.
• Familiarity with negotiating, structuring, and documenting debt finance transactions.
• Experience representing private equity sponsors or lenders in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing preferred.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Previous experience in an Am Law 100 law firm.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school (law school classes 2019, 2020, or 2021).
• DC Bar admission.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
